AT&T

AT&T offers telecommunications services and products for businesses and residential customers in central Arkansas and other areas of the state. The company offers local/long distance wireline service, wireless, data, high-speed Internet and in-home entertainment service - all available with one customer call and one monthly bill. The company's products also include directory advertising and publishing.

AT&T offers solutions for business customers to integrate voice, data and video teleconferencing capabilities. Multiple fiber rings in the metro area provide Little Rock businesses with disaster recovery and backup capability.

The Little Rock area telecommunications network is 100 percent digital with all central office switching centers connected via fiber optic cable, providing an efficient and reliable data and voice network. Fiber optic routes can be extended to new locations if needed to serve the various communications needs of businesses and industries.

AT&T DSL Internet Access Service allows business and residential customers to access the Internet or corporate networks at download speeds up to 6Mbps, through a dedicated connection to their central offices. DSL Internet Access Service expands the bandwidth of phone lines, allowing telephone service to remain undisturbed even as subscribers simultaneously use the line for high speed access to the Internet or a corporate local area network (LAN).

In addition, AT&T offers wireless service through a digital voice and data network

AT&T employs approximately 2,600 people in Arkansas and generates an economic benefit estimated at $430 million.

Windstream Corporation

Windstream is an S&P 500 company that provides digital phone, high-speed Internet and high-definition video and entertainment services to residential and business customers in 16 states. The company has approximately three million access lines and about $3.1 billion in annual revenue.

In Central Arkansas, Windstream offers a wide range of IP-based voice and data services and advanced phone systems and quipment to businesses and government agencies. The company has about 1,200 employees in Arkansas and 7,300 overall.
