Bowling for Business

Everybody can’t golf – but anybody can bowl! Launched to raves in 2008 and sequeled with success in 2009, the set-em-up-and-knock-em-down networking tournament features 32 five-person teams (160 bowlers), supported by a host of Chamber volunteers. Prizes go to top teams, with awards presented for highest and lowest individual scores, among others. The first round is a team competition among the Chamber’s members and groups. The second round is all networking, as bowlers mix and match to forge new business relationships while knocking down pins and knocking back – well, you get the idea. Oh, and don’t forget the competition for best team shirts.
