Little Rock’s JM Associates Produces Most Network Television Series of Any Independent Production Company in the World

In 1980, Little Rock’s JM Associates forged a monumental partnership with a fledgling cable network in Bristol, Connecticut. Back then, ESPN was still planning on airing movies for half the day and sports for the other half because conventional wisdom said that “no one would watch sports 24 hours a day.” Needless to say, things have worked out for both companies.

JM Associates produced the first outdoors show ever on ESPN The Fishin' Hole with Jerry McKinnis. Next to SportsCenter, The Fishin' Hole remained ESPN's longest running series for 27 years until the venerable show retired in 2007. Read More>

The 48 Hour Film Project is the first and largest of the timed film competitions. Over the weekend of June 6th – 8th, teams wrote, shot, edited and scored original films, all within just 48 hours. Little Rock is one of just 60 cities around the world hosting the 48HFP. Read More >
