Equally important to the recruiting of
new companies and jobs to the area is the retention and
expansion of existing business and industry.
With small businesses accounting for at
least 80% of the Chamber’s membership, it is imperative
that the organization work to insure that the area’s
business climate remains conducive to the startup, survival
and growth of the largest segment of our economy.
In addition to serving as the small business
advocate at all levels of government, your Chamber facilitates
numerous networking opportunities among its membership,
including the Small Business Council, Leads Groups, Networking
Luncheons, Leads Breakfasts, and Business After Hours. Further, through
the cooperation of its small business support members, the
Chamber intends to be the first and most complete source
for small business support in the region. |
