The Arkansas Department of Career Education offers services for Adult Education. Their programs include:
Accelerating Opportunity - helping adults earn higher-wage jobs by combining the basic skills education and career and technical training into one integrated curriculum
Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy (WAGE) – WAGE is a job readiness training program for unemployed or underemployed adults. It allows adults to earn any combination of six certificates, including general employability. These certificates prepare them for jobs in offices, banks, customer service departments and industrial settings.
Workplace Training – This program creates direct partnerships with businesses to provide personalized and flexible training based on the businesses’ individual needs and needs of their workforce. This training takes place onsite at the employer’s location. It empowers workforces and increases productivity for businesses.
