50+ non-profits showcase their missions at 2022 Serve the Rock

After being on hiatus for 2 years, the 11th annual Serve the Rock at Dickey-Stephens Park was back and bigger than ever!

Dozens of attendees were treated to drinks, food, desserts, and games while learning about the Chamber’s non-profit members.

New this year -- the Battle of the Banks Backyard Grill-Off. Arvest Bank, Armor Bank, Hope Credit Union and Regions Bank showed up with their grills and spatulas in the hopes of taking home a trophy and bragging rights. The crowd voted and Arvest Bank won 1st place with their tacos and margaritas in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Outside of the event, local businesses were paired with non-profits to aid in supplying items from a list of needs or providing employees for volunteer hours. To name a few, ECCI employees took up a donation of cash and then purchased items requested by Immerse Arkansas while the Little Rock Regional Chamber's leads group Summit donated books to AR Kids Read. We look forward to growing this service project for next year.
