Nominate a minority-owned business for MED Week's 40th anniversary

Minority businesses play a critical role in our economy and the Little Rock Regional Chamber wants to recognize those going above and beyond to make a positive impact in their community. But we need your help getting the word out that nominations are currently being accepted for the 2022 Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week Awards.

There are 5 categories:

  • Emerging Minority Business of the Year
  • Minority Business of the Year
  • Outstanding Young Professional of the Year (40 or younger)
  • Outstanding Minority Executive of the Year
  • Minority Mentor of the Year - Sponsored by Delta Dental

In honor of its 40th anniversary, MED Week will be filled with unique events and networking opportunities designed to celebrate the outstanding achievements of minority entrepreneurs while also providing tools and opportunities for all minority business owners to grow and expand.

“Winning the 2020 award for Emerging Minority Business of the Year was a great help to my business because it put a whole new set of eyes on the company,” says Tasha Moore, owner of Tasha Teaches Spanish. “It helped solidify the public perception of my business.”

“The LR Regional Chamber has created a space for all, recognized our contribution to society, and receiving that award validated me,” says Keneasha Scott with K Scott Consults, LLC, which was named the 2021 Minority-Owned Business of the Year. “It gave me the push I needed to keep running and growing my business.”

So, are you a minority business owner looking to showcase your success in the community, or do you know of a minority-owned business that is making a difference in the area? The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 17, at 5 p.m.! Click here for more.
