Grab and Go Feeding for LRSD Students Under 18
To keep those students from being hungry during the mandatory school closures, the City of Little Rock worked with several community partners has developed a feeding plan. For the details and meal sites click here.
Arkansas Dream Center
Food pickup for children at both Dream Center locations from 2-5 p.m. each day this week. NLR location: 1900 Pine Street; LR Location: 1116 West Daisy Gaston Bates Dr. They also have five routes into surrounding communities hitting apartment complexes in Metro LR.

Arkansas Food Bank

Central Arkansas Library System (CALS)
CALS is teaming up with LRSD, the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, the Clinton Foundation and the city of Little Rock to provide food for kids who need it. Click here to learn more. Rock Region Metro is providing free transportation to folks coming to a CALS location to pick up a free meal. Check their website for route information.
Volunteers are needed to support meals for students effort at the Clinton Presidential Library. While everyone understands the need for social distancing at this time, they have implemented important health and safety protocols in the kitchen and meal packaging area including a volunteer questionnaire and agreement that must be completed prior to volunteering. If you are healthy and would like to volunteer to package meals, please apply at littlerock.gov/volunteer -- especially if you have restaurant or safe serve experience. They need volunteers for two meal packing shifts each day:
- 8:00 a.m. – Noon
- 1:30 – 5:00 p.m.
