Entrepreneurial Assistance

The central Arkansas region provides fertile soil for launching and growing your business. In addition to the Tech Park, Venture Center, and Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, a variety of valuable resources are available for the entrepreneur and the small business owner.

Entrepreneurial Training Course

This course is offered through the City of Little Rock and is a 10-week class. The program is for anyone who wants to start a business or turn a hobby or skill into a career. The course is conducted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Small Business and Technology Development Center. Tuition for the course is $100. Learn more >

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Curriculum

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock offers a Business Management Major with an emphasis in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The program is 120 credit hours and equips students with conceptual and applied skills to develop and manage successful businesses. Learn more >

Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC)

The ASBTDC is a university-based program that assists new and seasoned entrepreneurs with consulting, market research and training. The ASBTDC also assists with business creation, management and operation and works with for-profit businesses, home-based businesses, and high tech companies to name a few. Learn more >

Little Rock Tech Fest

The Little Rock Tech Fest is an annual developer conference that features popular database, web, and mobile topics from industry leaders. Innovate Arkansas

Innovate Arkansas is a state-funded initiative that helps scale promising Arkansas technology ventures. Funded by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and administered by Winrock International, Innovate Arkansas assists technology entrepreneurs in turning startup companies into viable commercial enterprises.
