President Musalem became the 13th president and chief executive officer on April 2, 2024. In his role, he participates on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), which sets the direction of U.S. monetary policy.

Presented by Mainstream Technologies, strikes and spares are the name of the game on Thursday, July 11, 5-7 p.m., as chamber members battle for the trophy and bragging rights for yet another year. You can show up with your team or come alone and we'll find you some teammates for a fun-filled evening of rolling and networking.
This event features 32 five-person teams (160 bowlers). Prizes go to the top three teams, with awards presented for worst and best individual scores, among others. The first round is a team competition among the Chamber’s members and groups. The second round is all business development, as bowlers are mixed and matched to forge new business relationships while knocking down pins and knocking back – well, you get the idea. Oh, and don’t forget the competition for best team shirts!

For our final event of the summer, we’ll be touring Rock Town Distillery on South Main Street and sampling 8 of their award-winning products!
Private tours and tastings usually cost $20 per person, but the cost for CLR members and LITR participants is only $10. You can PAY HERE (coming soon) in advance or pay at the door. The cost includes a tasting of 8 of their products following the tour.
5:00-5:30pm: Socializing in the main bar. Rock Town has a full bar including beer and wine, and you can purchase a drink to enjoy before the tour.
5:30-6pm: Tour of the distillery. During the guided tour, we’ll learn about the process of making spirits – from grain to glass – and hear about their origins. (Don’t worry if you’re running late, it will be easy to catch up with the group.)
6pm-6:30pm: We’ll head to the private tasting room, where we’ll sample and learn about 8 of their spirits.
6:30 – 7pm: We’ll move the party over to the main bar area to make room for the next tour. You can grab another drink and purchase bottles of their various spirits if you like.
